This ancient Slavic love spell utilizes snow to bring a fiancé (or in our modern age, a boyfriend or girlfriend) into the home of the witch (you!).
Yes, the stereotypes don't lie -- it snows a lot in Russia! If you live in a part of the world that does not produce snow, simply replace the following spellwork directions with rain water.
You Will Need:
- One teacup
- A small piece of paper
- A pen
Preferred Moon Phase:
Full moon or Waxing moon.
What is the current moon phase?
Of course, it is difficult to coordinate both snow (or rain!) with the moon cycle. Do the best you can to perform during the full moon, but any time during the Waxing moon if perfectly wonderful.
On a small piece of paper write out in positive, affirmative statements what kind of love and what kind of partner you wish to attract.
In the morning collect the teacup and bring it inside. Place the teacup over the affirmative love paper. Hold your hands over the snow filled teacup and recite:
Once you feel you have given all of your loving energy into the teacup of snow, walk away for a little while.
Allow mother nature to melt the snow naturally.
When you notice all of the snow has melted, dip your fingertips into the cup of melted snow and gently flick the water on to your bed -- particularly the legs of the bed and four pillars of the bed, if applicable.
Place the piece of paper with your love affirmation under your bed and the teacup with the remaining snow water on top of the paper. Ideally the teacup and paper should be centered under your bed.
Allow the snow water to naturally evaporate, and make sure no one sees this work. The teacup, the love affirmation paper and the snow are for your eyes only!
According to the legends of Slavic old world witchcraft, a person matching your love affirmation paper will appear to you before next years first snowfall.
Love & Magick,
