The May 18th Scorpio Full Moon influences a metamorphosis of emotions and confronts our deeply held beliefs regarding relationships, self-worth and self-reliance. This challenging combination can manifest as sudden emotional outbursts, breakdowns and tantrums.
The Scorpio Full Moon also brings new desires to the forefront of our minds and often cause radical changes during the waning phase back the Dark Moon. This can manifest itself as leaving a relationship that you know does not suit you on a soul level, leaving a dead-end job or pursue self-exploration on a more serious level. If you are someone who regularly sees a therapist, I highly recommend scheduling a session on May 18th, as you will likely experience a huge breakthrough.
How should you work on your root charka on this Full Moon?
Find a quiet place in your backyard, in a park or, even better, in the wild forest. Sit on the bare Earth, with your back to a large old tree. Firmly plant your bottom on the ground and close your eyes. Breathe in deeply. Visualize your spine growing roots that spread down deeply within the Earth. You will notice your body will begin to feel very heavy. As you are sitting in this meditation, the Earth's electromagnetic field runs through your body and neutralizes destructive energies. Grounding your emotions through the extension of your energetic roots will eliminate feelings of low self-worth and powerfully activates authentic personal growth.
Following this Full Moon, I would advise you to make a list of self-sabotaging thoughts you would like to banish for the upcoming Dark Moon of June 2nd/3rd.
Until then, wishing you a deeply rooted Full Moon!
Love & Magick,
