Alternatively, this Sacred Power Blessing Ritual may be performed on yourself and can be customized based on the exact situation at hand - see notes below.
This spell is best performed three nights in a row, leading up to the Full Moon. If, however, you feel the situation is urgent, don't delay and do not wait for the proper moon phase!
You Will Need:
- Old World Ritual Candles (Qty 4)
- Pure beeswax absorbs and expands energy incredibly well, which is why we use the 100% beeswax Old World Ritual Candles for all ritual work. These candles do not require a candleholder, as they are lightweight and their waxiness allows them to stay upright on a horizontal surface with minimal application pressure.
- Sacred Power Ritual Blend: Empowerment & Blessing
- Fresh or dried rosemary sprigs/branches, enough to form a complete circle about 10 inches in diameter.
- Fireproof surface, such as a large stone or metal tray
- Pen
- Matches or lighter
If performing this ritual on behalf of another person, you will need:
| If performing this ritual for yourself, you will need:
|
- If the target is a female and recovering from a heartbreak, add Organic Orris Root Powder: Female-Empowerment, Authority & Wealth
- If the target is recovering from health problems, add Viking Ritual Blend: Inner Strength, Courage & Determination
- If the target is dealing with financial hardships, add Wild-Harvested Alkanet Root Powder: Financial Protection & Increased Prosperity
- If the target is battling negative energies, add Tiger's Eye Ritual Blend: Spiritual Protection & Defense
Find a quiet space and time where you will not be disturbed. As with all rituals, the ritual surface and surroundings must be fireproof. A stone or thick metal tray works well. Set all materials within close reach in your ritual space. You should be able to grasp everything while remaining seated. Once the ritual has started, you should not leave the energetically charged ritual space until you have finished the ritual for the evening.
Take a deep breath and allow your body and your mind to relax.
Step 1: Rosemary is a powerful herb that assists with regaining harmony, protection, and inner balance. Form a circle of rosemary springs on your ritual surface. The circle must be large enough to comfortably accommodate a photo of the blessing recipient and four Old World Ritual Candles within the circle.
On the back of the photo, write the blessing recipients date of birth, full name and a written blessing that is most appropriate. The blessing must be one that is specific to the target and, most importantly, is written in the present tense.
For example:
"{name}, you are filled with joy, love, and purpose. Your spirit soars with happiness and a sense of well-being. You feel wonderful and healthy inside and out. Your mind, body, and soul are in harmony and in complete alignment."
Your blessing may be as specific or general as you wish.
Step 2: Attach the blessing recipients biological material to the blessing text. This forms a direct link between the recipient and your ritual work. If you are doing this ritual work for yourself, simply skip this step.
Step 3: Place the photo in the center of the rosemary circle, facing upright. Sprinkle a circle of the Sacred Power Ritual Blend around the photo. You will only need to use about 1/2 teaspoon or so. If you are using any of the suggested additional herbs and roots, add them during this step.
Step 4: Place the Old World Ritual Candles directly on top of the photograph and gently roll them, allowing some of the sprinkled herbs to attach themselves to the candles. The Old World Ritual Candles are made of pure beeswax, which absorb and expand energy incredibly well. This step is crucial, as it picks up both the energy of the target, as well we the energy of the blessing.
Step 5: While chanting the blessing, look into the eyes of the target and envision rays of golden light enveloping them. Swirls of radiant light, moving up and down their body. Inside their brain. And throughout their energy field.
Step 6: Light one Old World Ritual Candle, hold it at a 45-degree angle directly at the 12 o'clock position over the picture to create a small pool of wax (3-4 drops of wax will do). Stick the candle directly into the pool of wax and hold it for about 5 seconds, until the center hardens just a bit and the candle is standing upright without any assistance.
Note: It may take you a couple of times to get the hang of this, but once you do, it will become a permanent part of your spellwork repertoire.
Step 7: Moving clockwise, proceed with lighting and placing the remaining 3 Old World Ritual Candles at the 3 o'clock position, 6 o'clock position and the 9 o'clock position. This send the blessing to the recipient around the clock from the four cardinal directions.
Step 8: Sit in meditation. Stare through the flames of the into the eyes of the blessing recipient. Your gaze should soften and become out of focus. Your own senses of sight and sound will drown out for just a few seconds. In your mind's eye, see your target receiving and experiencing the blessing.
Step 9: The Old World Ritual Candles will typically extinguish themselves in their own pool of wax. Despite this, never leave the candle burning unattended.
- If the flame catches the photo on fire, quickly blow it out! Don't allow the fire to consume the photo! If this happens, this is a direct physical representation that the ritual must be repeated.
- If candles neatly extinguish themselves, it is an affirmative sign that your ritual was successful and was received correctly by the target.
Step 10: This ritual is most effective when repeated a total of 3 consecutive times. Use your own intuition as your guide as to how long you will need to perform this spellwork on their behalf. For each repetition of this ritual, restart directly at Step 3. The same photo and blessing should be used throughout the length of the nightly ritual. Alternatively, you may perform this Blessing Ritual on a one-time basis as needed.
Step 11: What you do with the remains of your ritual (wax, photos, ashes, etc.) is just as important as the ritual itself! The ritual does not end when the candles extinguish. The ritual is not complete until you return the remnants back to the Earth. The Earth and the universal energy carry and propel your magick and your spellwork to its full completion. Make sure your disposal method does not contradict your desired outcome!
For best results, bury the remnants on the blessing recipients property. If that is not possible or merely unpractical, bury the remnants at the base of an old, healthy tree in the park or forest. For more information about ritual remanants, visit 15 Methods of Proper Ritual Remnant Disposal.
