For many, Witchcraft is an inner resonance of something long-forgotten but painfully missed. It is an inner knowing and spiritual awakening, usually starting in childhood.
For some, Witchcraft is a means of acquiring great power and control over their lives. And frequently, the lives of others. This is a perfectly suitable reason to follow the path of Old World Witchcraft. We're not here to judge!
For others, following the path of the Witch is less about power and control, and more about authenticity and eccentricity.
If you resonate with at least one of these descriptions, and have found your way to this page, chances are you have experienced 'otherworldly' occurrences in your life already. Possibly on a regular basis.
This can range from lightbulbs exploding around you when you are upset. Strong premonition/psychic abilities. Telepathy and astral projection. The world of Witchcraft is as vast as it is controversial. For every 100 books on Witchcraft, possibly only 1 will actually be worth reading. Unfortunately, the US market is saturated with New Age ideology and practices that simply do not produce any measurable results. Bookstores are very carefully curated to filter out the content that is likely considered "blasphemous" to the general public. Barnes & Noble is a horrible offender of this. Very little can be gained in the 'Spirituality' section of a big-box store.
